After 17 years of competition, Bruny Surin has run his last
race and drew his reverence on his career as top-level athlete
with the feeling of accomplished duty and the certainty to
have always given the very best of himself.

To accumulate as many seasons, it was necessary to combine sacrifices,
effort and talent to receive always-deserved rewards but also to
undergo failures rich in teaching. These lessons of life are as many
values as this champion makes a point of transmitting to the future
generations through the Bruny Surin Foundation and by doing this to
perpetuate the development and promotion of new athletes.
Animated by a feeling of gratitude and conscious of the problems the youngsters

in practice of sport often have to face.
The objective of the initiator of this project is to make it possible to them to take part in training camps, to benefits from adequate equipment with a suitable medical follow-up.
Aware of the importance of a financial support between public and private
contributors for that project dedicated exclusively to helping and promoting
the sport at a young age, the first step has been carried out and it misses
only the help of the ones and others to go forward.
